DEEP CLOSET ANALYSIS
FASHION INTAKE
The Fashion Intake is really the first stage of the Wardrobe Evaluation & Deep Closet Analysis. The clothes in your closet reveal a lot about your taste in fabric, and your personal fashion sense. As we comb through your closet, we’ll note your current fashion sense “as is”- this completes the Intake. We care to understand your current style before we make any recommendations because we want any transition to be a smooth and acceptable one for you. Certainly there are clothes you will keep, and we will ask you try them on to ensure they fit properly- if some resizing is necessary, we make note of that as well.
CLOSET REORGANIZATION
After the Intake, we will recommend you liberate your closet of the old, outdated, damaged and irrelevant pieces to make way for your new wardrobe. Every good closet, at its basest, should offer the owner the flexibility to mix and match multiple pieces of clothing to create several different outfits. This flexibility is attained by keeping a diverse, but basic, list of “essential multipliers” in your closet. If you find yourself stuck pairing the same tops, with the same bottoms, you are lacking these “essential multipliers” and your closet doesn’t offer the diversity it should.
BUILDING YOUR “QUICK OUTFITS”
We will go through your closet to pair a number of plausible outfits together given your daily social, and professional style goals. These “Quick Outfits” ideas will be photographed for you so you have an inventory to reference later. I can email you the Quick Outfits pics, or burn them onto a CD. By the time we are finished, your closet will be clean and organized- you’ll also have the new outfits in order. A prepared shopping plan in hand and know exactly what you need to build a fashionable and functional wardrobe.
The outcome of our “Quick Outfits” campaign will demonstrate how flexible, or rigid, your closet really is. If we find that your closet, despite how full it may be, only offers a limited number of useful outfits, you are likely in need of some “essential multipliers”. I keep an essentials multipliers checklist with me- as we proceed through your closet and create your Quick Outfits, I will highlight those missing pieces, and offer them as suggestions in an Essentials Shopping List.

FASHION & IMAGE CONSULTATION
1. Review your Virtual Portfolio delivered to me as part of the Pre Consultation Intake. We will determine the following through a co-analysis of your photos:
- Define your Current Style “As Is”
- Discuss your weaknesses, and any notable ‘faux pas’
- Highlight your current style strengths
- Use the information gathered to offer fashion advice and shape your “Style”. We will consider your body shape, skin tone, hair color, and physical features, in addition to other outside factors like the environment (urban vs. rural) and the Seasons (Winter vs. Summer).
2. Review Intake Questionnaire, and use the responses as points of discussion to better define a style which suits your personality, taste, body type, and lifestyle.
3. We’ll also review a montage of current fashion trends, and outfits, as found in numerous fashion and style magazines- you will pick a few from these resources to help us understand your ‘ideal’ look.
4. With a newly defined, yet still fresh, understanding of your ideal look, we will triage your closet to determine which clothes should remain, which should find a home elsewhere, and more importantly which clothes are “missing”.
5. We co create your Shopping Plan based upon the missing clothes you need to acquire to complete your closet, and support your style. This Essentials List will be required in my Personal Shopping service, and it will help us plan our shopping campaign.

WARDROBE EVALUATION

Based upon our findings during the Intake, and your personal input, we will provide you actionable feedback in the form of a “Shopping Plan” which will note the specific improvements your wardrobe, and lifestyle, could accommodate. Naturally we consider your lifestyle, profession, personality and budget when making any recommendations.
With your existing clothes, we will also “pair” pieces together to create relevant outfits you can wear immediately. By the time we are finished, your closet will be clean and organized- you’ll also have the new outfits in order. You’ll also have a shopping plan in hand and know exactly what you need to build a fashionable and functional wardrobe.
During your wardrobe evaluation we will:
§ Define your style “As Is” during the Intake
§ Organize your current wardrobe and remove all irrelevant items
§ Ensure that the garments we keep, fit and flatter you, and help you attain your goals.
§ Create outfits out of existing items (if possible)
§ Create a Shopping Plan with specifics

PERSONAL SHOPPING
A prerequisite to my Personal Shopping Services is either The Fashion & Image Consultation package, or you must complete the Pre Consultation Virtual Intake- I need to know my client before I can give appropriate and valuable advice. In the case of an emergency, or a new client, I can still meet your demands; however I will require an additional fee to account for an intake “on the spot.” Without having seen your closet I will require seeing the shoes, accessories, hats, belts, etc. which I will need to match with the outfits during our shopping campaign- I can meet with you in advance, or you may bring pic’s for me to reference.
I always pre shop for the client before the client arrives using the Essentials List created for you- this will make our shopping experience more productive and efficient- we will be able to view more relevant outfits in a shorter amount of time. This prep time usually requires I’m on site an hour in advance.
Naturally our goal is to expand your wardrobe- but we also want to create many different looks based upon the pieces you purchase. Substantially similar to my “Quick Outfits”, we will mix and match the clothes purchased to create many outfits on the spot. In essence we are also shopping for clothes which can act as ‘multipliers’, and can play a role in several different outfits- the value added here is obvious: you’re going to get more looks from my recommended purchases, than picking out “prefabbed” outfits which can’t be disassembled and matched with other clothes. Therefore, you’re also going to get a bigger “bang for the buck.” Additionally, I will take photos of the all the outfits we create so you have references later.
We will pay particular attention to how clothes fit, focus on outfits which will flatter you, determine your personal color palette, consider your budget, and redefine a style all your own. We will use our time, and shopping experience together, as a learning tool- ideally this should serve to educate you on how to shop for yourself. I want you to understand “how” I arrive at my conclusions, and decide which clothes make sense given your needs and personal style. Learning how to shop is acquired through experience and good decision making- I want to pass these tools on to you.
Please be sure to come with an agenda, and at least the following necessities:
· The reason for our shopping campaign: event, special date, or overall improvement
· You’re Size: Shirts, shoes, jackets, and bust size for women, etc.
· The “Look” you’re aiming for: Bring pictures from a magazine, need be
· An understanding of some Brands you prefer: e.g. Diesel jeans versus Seven, or Lucky, Jones New York, Dior, and Kenneth Cole

THE GRADUATE PACKAGE
The Graduate Package was created specifically for the recent or soon-to-be Graduate, however their education will continue on the fashion front! This package is a post graduate education in fashion, and their curriculum is structured around the following major ideas:
a) A graduate should learn how to diligently shop for themselves, and make intelligent fashion decisions given their career, social status, and post graduate budget
b) A graduate should know how to dress for the job interview process
c) A graduate should know how to build a wardrobe suitable for their new career, and the daily office grind
A prerequisite to the Graduate Package is the Pre Consultation Virtual Intake- I would like to know as much as possible about my client before I can give appropriate and customized advice.
The Graduate Package is designed to provide the greatest hands-on education, while still delivering a customized wardrobe. In contrast to my professional clients, I pay much more attention to developing my client’s ‘fashion eye’ so they can identify the right clothes when they shop on their own in the future. Given the client’s style, and taste, I take special pains to illustrate how to shop within the client’s new budget, and even direct them to particular clothiers, and boutiques. Many graduates struggle keeping a fashion budget which mirrors their discretionary income. Ultimately, I want the client to feel confident they can shop effectively on their own, and stay within their budget, using the new skills they acquired through my shopping tutorial and consultation.
Given the new budget, it wouldn’t be fair to not offer a package which would present the greatest value to a new entrepreneur. Included in the Graduate Package:
